Room 14 Problem Solvers

Our class has been doing some "problem solving" when it comes to telling time and reading a thermometer.


This activity had each child working with a partner to solve the problems. You'll see that each person used a different marker to record...it makes it easier to see who did what!

The Fox Hop Is Coming Soon!

Calling all disco dancers...!!!

The annual Fox Hop will be coming to Dorothy Fox on Friday, February 5th, from 5:00 - 8:00. Plan on a fun-filled night of dancing, pizza, salad, fruit, and much more! This year's theme is 70's Disco Fever!

Admission to the dance is free, and food is available for purchase.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great vacation! Our family definitely kept busy with many fun activities! Mr. Brosnan and I got to build some tasty gingerbread houses (Goliath begged for free samples), which was fun. We also went for a few walks in the snow, looked at Christmas lights, watched a lot of funny movies, and spent quite a bit of time with our families.

As hard as it will be to get up with an alarm clock, it will be nice to get into a routine again! 2nd grade is the best, and I feel like I have the best job ever!
